Miley Cyrus' stalker Mark McLeod, 53, was taken into custody today by the Columbia County Sheriff's Office on a charge of criminal attempt stalking, according to Augusta Chronicle. Mark was arrested at about 5:15 PM at his home on Linder-McCurdy Road, said sheriff's Capt. Steve Morris. Tybee Island authorities had issued an arrest warrant earlier today. Capt. Morris said he believed that Mr. McLeod, who was warned to stay away from Miley, was seen back in the Tybee Island area Sunday. He is being held at Columbia County Detention Center until Tybee Island police pick him up, Capt. Morris said. 'From what we've been told, they will pick him up in the morning and take him back to Tybee,' he said. In June, Mr. Mcleod made 'inappropriate comments' to young girls while attending shoots for The Last Song, according to Tybee police.
