About The Show:
Bridgit Mendler has scored her very own TV show! It’s a live-action comedy series on Disney Channel called Good Luck Charlie.The 16-year-old actress will play Teddy Holliday alongside Jason Dolley, who plays her brother Casey. The series follows Teddy, Casey, and their 10-year-old brother Gabe (Bradley Perry), whose parents enlist their help when they return to work after the birth of their fourth child, Charlotte, aka Charlie. With their parents juggling full time careers, the older Holliday siblings pitch in, getting very familiar with baby formula, burp clothes and babysitting while navigating typical teenage life.
Good Luck Charlie won’t premiere until 2010 but you can watch Bridgit guest star on Wizards of Waverly Place next Friday, July 24 @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.
About Bridgit Mendler:
It was after her family moved to the west coast with her parents and her sister Zoey, when she first expressed interest in acting and began booking local jobs. She landed a San Francisco agent when she was 11 years old. When she was thirteen, she began working in the Los Angeles market, signing with a Los Angeles agent and landing her first LA role in the soap, General Hospital. Since then, she has been landing roles both locally and in Los Angeles. In 2007 she performed in Alice Upside Down (opposite Alyson Stoner). Bridget is represented by The Gersh Agency and manager "LA Entertainment" and Elaine Lively.At age 16, she guest starred as Nick Jonas's love interest on the series premiere of J.O.N.A.S., singing with Nick and playing the guitar. She also played Kristen Gregory in the movie The Clique that year, and co-starred with Lindsay Lohan in Labor Pains. She has also guest-starred in Wizards of Waverly Place, in 4 episodes of the "Vampires vs. Wizards" saga. The first episode was on disneychannel.com as part of the Princess Protection Program premiere. She playes Juliet Van Heuson, a vampire with whom Justin falls in love.
